CHANGE OF DISMISSAL
A student’s dismissal method can only be changed by doing one of the following:
- Send in a note from the legal parent/guardian to the teacher or the office the morning of the change. Do not email the teacher, as absences occur and requests may not be received.
- Call the office with the change. A photo of the legal parent/guardian’s driver’s license/FL ID of the must be emailed to verify the caller. Email sent to: NPEDismissal@collierschools.com
- Send an email directly to: NPEDismissal@collierschools.com along with a photo of the legal parent/guardian’s driver’s license/FL ID.
Without one of these procedures in place, the child will be sent home as they normally dismiss. All changes must be
made to the office no later than 2:00PM.
*Reminder to have a plan in place for rainy day dismissal, as walkers/bikers will only be released to a parent/guardian once the
lightening alert is in ALL CLEAR.
CAR RIDER DISMISSAL
There will be a double car line during car rider dismissal. Once your child is loaded, a staff member will dismiss each lane after the designated cars are loaded. Extreme caution is needed at all times while in the loop. Parents must remain in their car at all times. Staff is available to assist as needed. Please refrain from using cell phones.
All cars coming though the car rider line will be required to display the NPE issued car rider sign on their passenger side visor. Cars without signs will be directed to park and report directly to the Front Office to verify their identity, requiring a photo identification.
A student will only be able to get in the car with an adult and no sign, if a note or call is on file in the front office. A note must also be provided if you are picking up additional students, besides your own children, in the car rider line.
EARLY DISMISSAL
When signing your child out early, you must have your ID present. Students will not be called out of class until the parent arrives on campus. It is important to pick up the child with enough time to allow for them to pack up and walk from their class to the office. Please ensure that anyone picking up your child is listed on the Emergency Card/Form as having authorized pick up. Students will not be released without this verification.
It is imperative that our parents, guests and volunteers always have their ID with them when on campus. Without it, we may not be able to verify your identity or accommodate your request.
